Mieczkowski.Lab is committed to providing a respectful, inclusive, and supportive research environment for all members of the community.

Code of Conduct

We believe that high-quality research depends on openness, mutual respect, and responsible collaboration.

Code of Conduct

Respect and inclusion

We value diversity and expect all members of the lab and its collaborators to treat others with professionalism, fairness, and respect. Discrimination, harassment, intimidation, retaliation, and exclusionary behaviour are not tolerated.

Well-being & sustainable work

Research can be demanding. We support approaches that promote mental well-being, healthy work–life balance, and sustainable scientific practice. Members are encouraged to communicate openly about challenges and seek support when needed.

Professional conduct

All interactions, whether in person, online, or in written communication, should be appropriate for a professional research environment. Constructive discussion, openness to different perspectives, and consideration of cultural differences are essential.

Raising concerns

Concerns related to conduct, collaboration, safety, or well-being should be raised through a respectful and confidential manner, without retaliation, using the lab or appropriate institutional channels.

Research integrity & responsible data practice

Research records, analyses, and reporting should be accurate, traceable, and reproducible. Clinical, molecular, imaging, and other sensitive data must be handled according to applicable protocols, ethical approvals, agreements, and security requirements.

Collaboration & authorship

We aim to foster transparent and fair collaboration. Contributions are acknowledged openly, and authorship is discussed in good faith, based on scientific contribution and responsibility.

This Code of Conduct complements institutional regulations & reflects our shared commitment to a professional & supportive research culture.
